During the spring of 2022, Shady Grove Fertility had began expanding their operations within their Chersterbrook business campus. The new fertility unit is to be out-fitted with state-of-the-art fertility laboratories and employee offices. Coordination efforts for this project began at the beginning of 2022, and trade collaboration is on going. The project is slated to begin construction in June of 2022, and is aiming to be done before the new year. Dimensional Design Systems engineers were responsible for coordination all electrical devices, modeling conduit runs and services for emergency appliances and coordinating with other trade professionals.
At the beginning of 2022, Proteovant Therapeutics began planing out a new pharmaceutical space in King of Prussia, PA. After securing a new 29,000 square-foot business property, collaboration on converting the structure into lab ready spaces began. The new facility will house both a large office space for employees of Proteovant as well as numerous laboratories for pharmaceutical study. Dimensional Design systems engineers were implemented into the BIM design process to provide lighting design as well as electrical equipment design.
Bristol Myers Squibb recently began expanding pharmaceutical operations at their Summit, New Jersey campus. With renovations well underway for the pre-existing campus building, BMS has been slowly converting the S4 Building into a new office complex for campus employees. With the complexity of updating the interior MEP of the structure, our engineers were tasked with conducting numerous laser scanning sessions of the interior. From floors one to three, we were able to map out exactly were electrical conduit was to be installed. In turn these laser scans helped design engineers properly place conduit for coordination making trade installation much more cost effective.
In late 2021, Roquette Pharmaceutical acquired property at the Spring House Innovation business campus. This property was to be fitted out with new pharmaceutical equipment for labs and chiller rooms. Our team of engineer designers were responsible for modeling all electrical conduit and electrical equipment for the new campus building. Due to the structure being pre-existing, it was important for our team to plan efficiently with the coordination team to ensure needed equipment was thoughtfully placed. Roquette Pharmaceuticals new labs in Lower Gwynedd, PA are set to be completed during late 2022.
Celgene's Summit New Jersey campus has undergone numerous phases of construction. With a new found need for pharmaceuticals, constant expansion of Celgene's campus doesn't come unwarranted. In previous years our team have created BIM designs in regard to Celgene's 2018 Analytical Lab expansion and 2020 S5 Data Room addition. Now currently, Celgene has began a Liso-Cel capacity expansion onto their currently existing manufacturing facility. Our team of engineers have been working diligently on this project since its inception in mid 2021 to provide high-grade electrical BIM designs. The expansion is aimed to be completed near the end of 2021.
In early 2019, B.Braun began an overall company expansion of their pharmaceutical manufacturing plants. This expansion was due to IV fluid shortages throughout the U.S. healthcare system. Though when the need for pharmaceuticals in 2021 spiked, a secondary expansion was set in place for B.Braun's Allentown Manufacturing facility. The new plant was to occupy a 27-acre property on B.Braun's Allentown campus and was to be a 310,000 square-foot plant. Expansion plans also include a 10,295 square-foot maintenance building along with a 326-space parking lot for employees. B.Braun's plan for this expansion is to maintain and support projected growth for future production of pharmaceuticals.
Our team have been responsible for designing all electrical BIM components and modeling control layouts for the facilities equipment. Planning for the new structure began in early 2021 and the construction for B.Braun's new expansion is expected to be done in the third quarter of 2021.
Celularity's multi-phase headquarters renovation project began it's phase II planning and primary construction near mid 2020. The headquarters renovations include the demolition and remodelling of a 90,000 square-foot office building that converted the structure into qualified laboratory space and offices. The inclusion of 10 large Air Handling Units on laboratory roofs plus lab services including nitrogen and compressed air.
Dimensional Design Systems BIM designers were tasked with creating all electrical BIM models and coordinating with other trade design specialists. Our team was primarily involved with the second phase of construction and facility additions. Construction of the new headquarters facility had been completed near the end of the 2020 calendar year.
With a recent expansion in 2018, adding an additional 63,000 square-feet to their headquarters facility, Genewiz soon revisited expanding their operations around late 2019 in South Plainfield New Jersey. Being one of the largest genomics service provider globally, Genewiz has steadily expanded their operations ensuring their facilities are up-to-date with the latest technology. Alterations of the interior space at Genewiz headquarters began in late 2019 to replace all previously outdated equipment and to expand the facility.
Our team at Dimensional Design Systems was primarily responsible for modeling all lighting equipment in the space and coordinating with other trade design specialists. In collaboration with other trades and providing industry-leading BIM design, construction for this interior renovation was completed in early 2020.
Once Abbvie was purchased by Allergan Inc., the pharmaceutical giant began planning for construction in Branchburg New Jersey. Abbvie was to have their own base of operations for skin-care pharmaceutical development as Allergan Inc. began expanding beyond standard medicines. In mid 2019, a construction build-out began to help house the new employees and headquarters for Abbive.
Engineers here at Dimensional Design Systems were tasked with creating all electrical BIM designs in collaboration with other trades. This specific build was classified as a build-out, essentially our team coordinated on the building space as a whole to then be outfitted with necessary equipment by the client at a later time. Construction for this facility ended in late 2019 and began operations soon after.
With an increasing need for capacity, Erytech began planning an expansion to their operations for the phase three eryaspase product. In late 2018, planning had begun for Erytech's new 30,000 square-feet GMP manufacturing facility in Princeton New Jersey. Not only were extensions of the company being made here in the U.S. but also in European countries where Erytech facilities resided. The new Princeton facility has been outfitted with a multitude of clean rooms and designed with a flexible space for future company scaling due to the expected commercial demand for eryaspase in the United States.
Dimensional Design Systems was contracted and responsible for creating all electrical BIM design for this facility build. Our team worked exclusively with Erytech and in collaboration with other trade design specialist to ensure a seamless project life-cycle. Construction for this new facility came to its end toward mid 2019.
The world's largest dedicated producer of human vaccines, Sanofi, began planning to expand their operations in Swiftwater PA. The new Sanofi Facility was to be built with the latest industry-leading pharmaceutical technology including SmartPro NF incubation systems. With this expansion came a greater capacity for Sanofi to house vaccinations for the U.S. populace.
Our team of BIM designers were contracted to curate all electrical BIM designs, laying out new conduit for the structure. Working closely with Sanofi our team, in collaboration with other trade design specialists, ensured a smooth project life-cycle for the facility expansion. Construction for the facility came to its fruition in mid 2019.
PDI set to open a new Global Headquarters in 2019, expanding their operations to maintain their diligent service of providing more then 97% of all U.S. Hospitals infectious disease prevention products. This pharmaceutical goliath began planning for the new facility in late 2018 and had set the completion for construction in mid 2019. The new facility can house up to 700 plus PDI staff with features like an employee gym, dedicated meeting places and campus cafe to induce collaboration and innovation.
Dimensional Design Systems engineers were responsible for all electrical BIM design created for this build. In close collaboration with PDI and other contracted trade BIM designers, the PDI Global Headquarters facility finished construction in early-mid 2019.
Lonza Pharmaceuticals initially closed down two branches in New Jersey, South Plainfield and Allendale, that came with the 2011 purchases of Arch Chemicals. With the closures came Lonza's need for expansion to house the 130 employees effected by the facility closures. Lonza consolidated its staff and operations to a new Morristown New Jersey lab facility. The new lab facility that was constructed by the end of 2018 became a U.S. base of operations, lab testing and product sales.
Our team of BIM designers were tasked with creating all the electrical BIM designs for the new lab facility. Planning in collaboration with Lonza Pharmaceuticals and other trade design specialists created a seamless and easy project build.
Hovione began expanding their operations by adding a pilot plant production with 3,000L reactors, pharmaceutical spray dryer suite and continuous drug product manufacturing facilities in early 2017. This expansion was to begin full operation in June of 2017, and the spray dryer suite in September of 2017. With these new additions Hovione has been able to introduce a finite drug substance and particle engineering research effort.
The team of engineers here at Dimensional Design Systems were tasked with not only creating all the electrical BIM design for the new spray dryer suite but also take the lead for the project's trade coordination. Our BIM specialists were able to ensure a seamless project life-cycle by holding weekly coordination meetings, creating clear communication between trade designers and running model reviews for each design phase of the project. Development and construction came to a close in late 2017.
Merk & Co. began planning and construction for their new development center in Rahway NJ in late 2015. Dimensional Design Systems' engineers were brought onto the expansion project for the development centers BIM design phases. In collaboration with Merk & Co. and other trade BIM specialists, our team was responsible for designing all electrical BIM models for the structure.
In early 2015, Catalent pharmaceuticals planned to expand their operations in Somerset New Jersey to be able to conduct solutions for high potent compound development. This expansion build included more space for clinical and commercials dose manufacturing and construction had finalized for the new facility in 2016.
Our team of engineers were responsible for curating all electrical BIM designs pertaining to the expansion. In collaboration with Catalent and other trade design specialist, the project life-cycle of this expansion was seamless and construction planning was highly efficient, thus cutting planning times nearly in-half in comparison to tradition means.
