With Global Foundries being one of the largest semi-conductor manufacturing brands in the world, production of semi-conductors has been at an increase in recent years due to technological advances. At the beginning of April, 2022, our team of design engineers were contracted to design new electrical systems within the already large Global Foundries production facility in New York. We have been working closely with Global Foundries with this on-going project, helping design a fluid floor plan fro new to existing electrical systems.
During early 2022, our team of engineer designers were brought onto the renovation project of New York's Terminal Warehouse by New Line Structures. With this project in full swing for about a year prior to our introduction to the coordination team, Dimensional Design Systems was responsible for continuing all electrical design work completed thus far. Our engineers are responsible for the main electrical and low-voltage MEP design.
The Terminal Warehouse in New York is being prepped for modern use as the retro structure is being transformed into a multi-faceted business complex. With 1.2 Million square feet of space, the historic building will house cutting-edge office and retail spaces. On top of converting the space for modern use, architects have planned to add additional levels to the complex. Restoring this historical New York structure is set to finish in the year 2023.
Nouryon facility alterations have begun at their Bridgewater location in New Jersey The renovations call for a second floor expansion, which has been divided into four stages of development. This build is updating and expanding the current Nouryon facility to modernize their manufacturing efforts.
Our team has been contracted to create all electrical BIM models, both new and connections to pre-existing components. We have been working closely with Nouryon and other BIM designers throughout this project and continue to do so. Renovations are to be completed in late 2021.
Mane USA's consumer goods facility in Wayne New Jersey began expanding their operations in mid 2021. Mane USA is known as a globally recognized flavor and fragrance manufacturer integral in creating essential oils and extraction technologies. Their Wayne New Jersey customer goods facility underwent a large addition to house more occupants and space for equipment.
Dimensional Design Systems' design engineers were contracted to design all electrical systems and electrical BIM models during the planning phases of Mane USA's facility expansion. Our team conducted proper coordination with other trade BIM designer making project planning for this build efficient and effective.
Triumph Brewing Co. has started renovations to Princeton New Jersey's historical Post Office planning to move their operations into the heart of the college town. The entirety of the main floor and basement have been cleared out for the new brewery aesthetic that is soon to take over. Triumph Brewing Co.'s new location is set to open in the last quarter of the 2022 calendar year.
Our team of BIM designers have been carefully and diligently designing the new interior for the soon to be brewery. Using a scan to BIM method, our designers can properly outfit the space of the historical building using accurate measurements to help preserve the structures integrity.
In early 2021, Honeywell's Global Headquarters was put on the market as the company makes a transition out of New Jersey state. The 465,000 square-foot facility was then purchased by Global Aerospace insurance as a new home base for business. With the new facility having been previously formatted for the production giant, Global Aerospace has converted the space into a large office of operations facility.
Dimensional Design Systems' designers were primarily responsible for designing all electrical and power distribution routes, fire alarms, lighting , telecommunications, A/V and security BIM models. Our team coordinated and designed in collaboration with other BIM design specialists ensuring a seamless project life-cycle.
OceanFirst Bank was given permission by the Tom Rivers planning board to build a new seven story headquarters on Hopper Avenue. The new 79,000 square-foot facility will introduce 175 new job positions and is include amenities like a cafeteria, campus gym, and employee locker rooms. Property was bought in early 2019 and construction began in 2020.

Goldman Sachs 42-story building in Jersey City began to undergo renovations as its door opened to allowing other corporations to rent out space in the monolith building. WeWorks Real Estate moved into the building to set up new business operations offices. WeWorks is primarily known for selling and establishing co-working spaces across the globe.
The Dimensional Design Systems engineering team were responsible for designing all trimble points for the preexisting space. Trimble points are designed and used by mechanical contractors for create hangers for MEP service equipment. This process is relatively fast and our team reverently designed all points for hangers easing the over all equipment planning process.
The Tin Building located on Pier 17, is a 53,000 square-foot market structure that has recently made a transition. The well known building was moved 32 feet away from and six feet higher than its original sitting place. This historical building originally housed the Fulton Fish Market in 1835, and it isn't the first time this building has moved for better geographical security. Not only has the building been moved numerous time but it has suffered significant damage in years past from a large fire and most recently flooding damage from hurricane Sandy.
Our team was contracted to plan and adjust all construction bulletins for this build. With the building being moved from one location to another, planning needed to be diligent prior to actual construction. Our team reviewed plans and ensured all plans were properly revised. Construction for this move had ended in late 2021.
The Hoboken Transit station, part of the New Jersey Transit system, has undergone numerous stages of renovation to maintain it's operations. With an initial plan introduce to the Jersey City board back in 2014, NJ Transit has planned on renovating the surrounding location of the transit's terminal point. With this plan underway, it is imperative for the terminal location to update it's structural integrity and electrical feed capabilities. This specific project was introducing new essential constructs to the transit system, preparing for the inevitable area renovation.
Our team was task with designing all electrical BIM models for the locations infrastructure update. Working closely with Jersey City officials, the NJ Transit company, and other trade BIM designers, our team was able to design and coordinate effectively for this projects life-cycle.
Skadden Law Firm in New York underwent renovations in mid 2019. Our team of engineers were responsible for implementing all lighting BIM design and electrical BIM design for the office renovation. Having been a pre-existing structure, our BIM designers had to ensure existing and new electrical components seamlessly worked together. The Dimensional Design systems crew worked diligently in collaboration with other trade specialists to create an effective pre-construction and construction plan. Renovations for the new office space finalized in early 2021.
In late 2018, Barclays Village in Whippany New Jersey began planning for renovation and expansion. Renovations for one the campus's building commenced in 2019 and the 175,000 square-foot space was to receive a complete gut and renovation. Along with the renovations Barclays also planned to build a number of standalone additions to the campus as well. The over all build included a new employee parking center, dinging facility, entertainment rooms, a fitness and wellness center, and much more.
Dimensional Design Systems was contracted with creating all electrical BIM models for the additional building and renovated complex through this projects planning phases. Our engineers worked closely with Barclays and other trade designers, making the planning phases of this project seamless.
EnVue Hotel is a high-end luxury hotel experience that had been introduce to the Port Imperial location in early 2019. Planning for the new structure, with commercial shopping locations included, began in late 2018. The hotel itself contained features like a spin studio, fitness center, recreation area, a business center, conference rooms, a Wi-Fi Cafe and more.
Our crew was contracted by EnVue to preform a capacity fit-out for the pre-existing location to allow hotel operations to commence. Dimensional Design Systems BIM designers diligently refined a fit-out execution plan, ensuring a effective construction project life-cycle.
Construction was halted from 2009 to 2019 for a 25-story condominium structure until revived by the United Arab Emirates. Once what was going to be more luxury homes in the main strip of New York City has become the central hub for the UAE's Mission to the United Nations. The 145 foot-tall structure had to be reconfigured from what was going to be use as residential living to both residential housing and a community building center.
Dimensional Design systems was contracted to design all electrical BIM models, including fire safety, electrical equipment and conduit. Ore team collaborated with a number of trade designers during this projects planning phases. The UAE's Mission to the United Nations complex was completed in early 2020.
S&P Global Financial began planning renovations for their Princeton offices in early 2018. The renovations were planned to cover the first, second and third floors including new electrical work, HVAC duct work, plumbing and equipment installation. Our engineer's primary design responsibility was to model all electrical BIM work including fire safety equipment, electrical conduit and equipment hangers. Renovation construction for this project came to an end in late 2018 to early 2019.
A new transit option made its way to the Princeton area with a connection to the NJ Transit system. The smaller complex with only about 2,240 square-feet, including both inside and outside facilities, was built allowing students, staff and public residents of the Princeton University area a new option for transportation. The Princeton Transit building resides only a few meters from the tracks, has an indoor common area and outdoor seating.
Our designers were tasked with modeling all electrical conduit for the new transit location, and implementing as-built elements into the over all arch design. Working closely with the township of Princeton and collaborating with other trade designers, our team was able deliver high-grade BIM design models ensuring seamless project life-cycle. Construction completed in late 2018.
In late 2015, Holtec International had begun planning for a bright future in Camden NJ. On the docket for construction was Holtec's new grand facility, the Holtec Technology Campus. The new campus build included a corporate engineering office building, a light manufacturing facility, a small modular reactor test loop and numerous ancillary amenities. The construction of this complex enabled a huge bolster for labor employment in the Camden area and once completed, the new facility would open up a multitude of employment opportunities for the Camden populace.
Dimensional Design Systems was contracted to design all electrical BIM models including fire safety equipment and any electrical conduit for the complex. Our team collaborated closely with Holtec and numerous other BIM trade designers to ensure a effective project planning phase. Construction for the campus completed in late 2017.
The Sysco Foods facility in Philadelphia PA underwent renovations in early 2015. Sysco is a food distribution company with an extensive track record and is well known to be a top global provider of food products to a multitude of businesses. Our team was contracted by Sysco to design all electrical BIM models for their renovations, including new fire safety units, electrical conduit and equipment. Renovations came to a close in late 2015.
