Continual growth for the Coresite Data campus in New Jersey has taken it's next step with the addition of Data Space NY3. This new construction project will see fit the planning of a four story data center facility with two floors being dedicated to future clean spaces. The Dimensional Design Systems has been 3D BIM designing the entirety of all electrical systems for the new building.
This includes all data equipment, conduit routing, low voltage routing, electrical equipment and more. Working closely with DPR Construction's BIM team, our designers have been continually and planning all electrical systems effectively prior to the project breaking ground.

With a complete building updates in years prior, Verizon 2 Data Center continues to update their data spaces to better accommodate advancements and upgrades in equipment. With the continual additions and changes to the space, our team works closely with collaborative BIM designers to ensure revisions to the space are documented with 3D electrical BIM designs and 2D plans.
Verizon's most recent addition was the inclusion of new chiller pipes that feed the space for general cooling. The new lines needed to be routed and documented for the existing space accordingly.

Having worked for Digital Realty before designing numerous data center spaces, Dimensional Design Systems was tasked to 3D BIM design one of their existing campus buildings with new electrical equipment. This renovation included new electrical systems, conduit routing and data equipment updates. The outfitting of this space is only another checkpoint in the multi-step ongoing need for data center facility updates for Digital Realty.

Our team of designers have been contracted to help model the renovated industrial space for Core Site's New Jersey Data Center Location. Our design engineers have created the electrical device models for this project and have coordinated the space in tandem with its existing MEPs. We have been working closely with Core Site for this renovation and are continuing to do so.

The T-Mobile Data Center Renovation, in Branchburg, New Jersey, is an on-going project where our team of engineers have been tasked with a number of BIM design projects. Our designers were first set out to determine the structure of the pre-existing building and model the structure in program. On-site scanning was conducted to gather information of the data center and then gathered scans were used to model the pre-existing structure accordingly.
Once all architecture of the building was modeled, our team of engineers began designing all pre-existing electrical work and implemented new electrical feeds to new equipment. In tandem with the modeling of new electrical conduit, our team of designers began creating mechanical equipment models to implement into the design. This project is still underway and soon to be completed.

Dimensional Design Systems works jointly with Digital Realty on a number of data center projects. Digital Realty is currently constructing a new data center build in Totowa, New Jersey. Our team was assigned with curating all electrical BIM designs such as implementing new in-structure electrical conduit and underground conduit feeds. Alongside designing the data centers' electrical BIM models, our engineers have also created the mechanical equipment BIM designs for the new build.
Dimensional Design Systems' designers have been consistently curating new BIM models for this project and have been keeping BIM coordination organized. This project is estimated to come to its conclusion in the near future.

In late 2020, our team at Dimensional Design Systems was tasked with designing all electrical BIM for Verizon Wireless' new data center in the Wall Township area of New Jersey. This project, like other data centers, was a multi-phased project. Data centers are constantly being upgraded and pushed to greater capacities due to the evolution of technology.
This multi-phase project had a term of two phases, one being the initial electrical BIM design for the new structure being built in the Wall Township area the second phase being an expansion. The initial build conducted in 2018 was completed near mid-2019. As expansions and adjustments were planned, Verizon contracted our services again to accommodate their project needs. Just as our team was tasked previously, our engineers designed and implemented all new electrical BIM designs in the 2020 expansion ensuring a seamless project life-cycle.

During the summer of 2020, D.E. Shaw & Co. had begun expanding their data center suite campus in Piscataway, New Jersey. This projects was specifically aimed towards a fit-out of an already existing space. Our team of engineers curated all electrical BIM designs for the newly fitted structure being added to the 320 Data Suite.
As per other data centers, the primary need for a data center space is to house servers and data racks. With a fit-out, pre-existing space is modified to allow a higher occupancy which calls for more than just electrical BIM design. Our team worked in tandem with other trades and conducted coordination to ensure the planning of this project was effective. Data Suite 320's construction was completed and finalized in late 2020.

In Piscataway, NJ continual expansion for Digital Realty's Suite campus, which includes digital suites S210 and S220, structural fit-outs were necessary for an increase in occupancy. Our team of designers were responsible for creating all electrical BIM models and worked in collaboration with other trades to ensure a seamless project life-cycle.
With our team specializing in electrical BIM design and specifically data center BIM design, our team effectively completed this project near the end of the 2020 calendar year.

Construction and planning for Verizon Wireless' data center in Branchburg New Jersey started at the beginning of 2020. Our team's role was to run all RCP BIM coordination meetings for the collaborating trade designers. Coordination meetings would be held in person, then later over online video conference meetings. During coordination meetings, our team would review project models, conduct clash detection sessions and curate extensive plans to ensure the project was on-track with zero complications.
Though our company specializes in electrical BIM design, our staff is comprised of experts who have field experience as tradesmen and understand the diligence needed when planning an industrial build. The Branchburg Verizon Data Center expansion was designed and coordinated to it's fruition in mid-2020.

Digital Realty has a multitude of data center facilities and numerous campuses across the tri-state area. At Dimensional Design Systems, we have been given the opportunity to create BIM designs and lead BIM coordination for a large sum of Digital Realty data center projects. Suite S310 began planning in late 2019, and the data suite was set to be built on their Piscataway, New Jersey campus.
Our team of engineers were primarily responsible for creating all electrical BIM design necessary for the data center. All underground and above ground conduit were planned meticulously by our crew. Digital Realty's Suite S310 came to a close in construction in mid around late 2020.
